This specialized learning pathway is tailored for veterinarians and veterinary nurses with a keen interest in exotic species, including small mammals, birds, and reptiles, who are eager to enhance their knowledge and practical expertise in this area. Throughout the program, participants will explore the anatomy, physiology, care, common diseases, and critical care of these species, along with essential clinical techniques. Additionally, the curriculum covers anesthesia, basic surgery for small mammals and reptiles, and foundational dental care for small mammals.
Delivered entirely online, the program offers 10 hours of comprehensive course material. Supplementary resources, such as radiology quizzes and reading materials, are included to enhance the learning experience. The majority of the content is self-paced, allowing you to complete the program over a 4-month period at your convenience.
