Allround Starter/Refresher

The OVT Starter/Refresher Trajectory is a comprehensive learning pathway that combines independent online study with live online sessions. Designed to provide a solid foundation of all-round knowledge, this 1-year program is ideal for newly graduated veterinarians seeking a strong start, as well as experienced professionals in need of an in-depth refresher. It is also an excellent choice for veterinarians transitioning from other specialties to companion animal care.

Internal Medicine

This trajectory is specifically designed for veterinarians with a passion for internal medicine in small animals.

Over the course of one year, you will develop a solid and clinically relevant understanding of internal medicine in small animals. The program offers a thorough theoretical framework, always grounded in the latest scientific literature. You’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to approach complex medical problems with a logical and practical mindset. The course content is richly illustrated with real-life examples from daily practice, helping you connect theoretical concepts to situations you’re likely to encounter in your own clinic.

This one-year program is delivered entirely online and combines self-paced learning materials—such as recorded webinars, podcasts, and protocols—with live online sessions for discussion, interaction, and practical application.

Exotics 101

This specialized learning pathway is tailored for veterinarians and veterinary nurses with a keen interest in exotic species, including small mammals, birds, and reptiles, who are eager to enhance their knowledge and practical expertise in this area. Throughout the program, participants will explore the anatomy, physiology, care, common diseases, and critical care of these species, along with essential clinical techniques. Additionally, the curriculum covers anesthesia, basic surgery for small mammals and reptiles, and foundational dental care for small mammals.

Delivered entirely online, the program offers 10 hours of comprehensive course material. Supplementary resources, such as radiology quizzes and reading materials, are included to enhance the learning experience. The majority of the content is self-paced, allowing you to complete the program over a 4-month period at your convenience.
