Description of the RX images

Orthogonalβ€―radiographs of theβ€―abdomenβ€―are available for interpretation.

The abdominal detail is withinβ€―normalβ€―limits.

Theβ€―spleenβ€―is severelyβ€―enlargedβ€―and slightly irregularly marginated on all 3 views.β€―Equivocalβ€―hepatomegaly.

Theβ€―left kidneyβ€―is mildly irregularly marginated. Theβ€―right kidneyβ€―isβ€―smallerβ€―than theβ€―left kidneyβ€―and also has blunt margination.

On the leftβ€―lateral projection,β€―ventralβ€―to theβ€―colonβ€―in the midβ€―abdomenβ€―there is theβ€―impressionβ€―ofβ€―soft tissueβ€―mass. However this is not correlated on any otherβ€―projectionβ€―and is likely to represent summationβ€―artifactβ€―ofβ€―normalβ€―abdominal content.

Severeβ€―splenomegaly. This is concerning for underlyingβ€―infiltrativeβ€―disease such asβ€―lymphoma.

The FNAs of theβ€―spleenβ€―were indicative ofβ€―possibleβ€―lymphoma.
