This webinar is suitable for veterinarians and veterinary assistants/paraveterinary staff.

We know that starting resuscitation as quickly as possible can make the difference between life and death. But to be able to resuscitate quickly and correctly, you need to know how to do it. Based on the RECOVER (Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation) guidelines, the different steps of CPR are briefly and clearly reviewed. This webinar is useful for anyone who works with animals. Even if you already know how to perform CPR, it never hurts to get a thorough refresher. During this training, the following topics will be covered:

  • How do you ensure that you are well prepared to perform a successful resuscitation?
  • What does BLS (basic life support) consist of?
  • What is ALS (advanced life support)?
  • What do you do after a successful resuscitation?

The training is practical and hands-on and will provide veterinarians and veterinary assistants with the necessary tools to perform CPR with full confidence.

The training lasts a minimum of 30 minutes.

Teacher:

  • Sanne Melis, MVM, DipECVAA, MRCVS
