Cardiopulmonary emergencies in dogs and cats are among the most critical situations in veterinary practice, requiring rapid recognition and immediate intervention. In this webinar, you will gain a practical and structured approach to the diagnosis and management of life-threatening cardiac and respiratory conditions.

We will cover key topics including heart failure, arrhythmias, pulmonary and systemic hypertension, cardiac tamponade, and aortic thromboembolism. You will also learn how to assess cardiovascular function in emergency patients and how to prioritize treatment based on hemodynamic principles such as preload, afterload, and cardiac output .

The webinar focuses on translating physiology into clinical decision-making, with clear guidance on emergency therapies, monitoring, and stabilization strategies.

By the end of this session, you will feel more confident in recognizing and managing cardiopulmonary emergencies in both dogs and cats, allowing you to act quickly and effectively in critical situations.
