I’ve learned from Geert in different ways over the years: first while working with her in practice, where she was my supervisor, and later by following her courses for several years. What I have always appreciated is her calm and clear way of explaining things. She makes complex topics easy to follow, without oversimplifying them.

Her teaching is always up to date and based on the latest literature, but at the same time very practical and relevant for everyday cases. Whether you work in first-line practice or in a referral setting, you come away with knowledge you can actually use.

Geert is also very approachable. There is always room to ask questions, and if something cannot be answered straight away, she makes sure to come back to it later. Her guidance and teaching have really helped me grow further as a veterinarian in practice.
