It covers practical anaesthetic risk assessment, patient and team preparation, monitoring, and decision-making during common respiratory, cardiovascular and temperature-related complications. Key topics include airway obstruction, respiratory depression, hypoxaemia, hypotension, arrhythmias, hypothermia, hyperthermia, reflux, regurgitation and aspiration.
