Based on a complete neurological examination, it is possible not only to determine whether a patient has a neurological disorder, but also to localize the lesion within the nervous system.

During this 90-minute session, Ine Cornelis, a European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology, guides you through the fascinating world of the neurological examination and provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to perform it independently.

Using numerous video examples, the different types of ataxia and paresis are demonstrated and explained, including how to distinguish between the two. The cranial nerve examination, cutaneous trunci (panniculus) reflex, perineal reflex, and other components of the neurological examination are also discussed and demonstrated using video footage.
