In collaboration with Dr. Adrien-Maxence Hespel from the University of Tennessee, we present the following radiology quiz. The goal of this case is to practice identifying radiographic findings and formulating a radiographic diagnosis based on a brief patient description. The final section provides additional information about the treatment.

The abdominal detail is withinβ―normalβ―limits.
Theβ―spleenβ―is severelyβ―enlargedβ―and slightly irregularly marginated on all 3 views.β―Equivocalβ―hepatomegaly.
Theβ―left kidneyβ―is mildly irregularly marginated. Theβ―right kidneyβ―isβ―smallerβ―than theβ―left kidneyβ―and also has blunt margination.
On the leftβ―lateral projection,β―ventralβ―to theβ―colonβ―in the midβ―abdomenβ―there is theβ―impressionβ―ofβ―soft tissueβ―mass. However this is not correlated on any otherβ―projectionβ―and is likely to represent summationβ―artifactβ―ofβ―normalβ―abdominal content.
Severeβ―splenomegaly. This is concerning for underlyingβ―infiltrativeβ―disease such asβ―lymphoma.
The FNAs of theβ―spleenβ―were indicative ofβ―possibleβ―lymphoma.
